DISCLAIMER: What follows is being written first-hand from one individual’s life experiences. In other words, this won’t be definitive but will try to be comprehensive.
In previous posts I tracked my experience in attaining my salesperson’s license to sell or list property in Arkansas. To obtain my goal, I attended online classes offered through Camp Real Estate run by Wayne Camp in Mountain Home, AR. Currently we have a future agent studying through the school so imagine my surprise when I learned that my “alma mater” had merged and was under alternative management.
So here’s the good news, the school merged with another real estate school with extensive experience located in Little Rock. It is now called Arkansas Real Estate School. In addition, if there are enough students interested in a class from the local area, they have an instructor that will travel to our area to teach. Nor are they lacking in online classes. They actually offer more classes than were previously available.
So if you are interested in pursuing a career in real estate, take a moment and go check out the school website. Learn the reasons for the merger and perhaps sign up for a class. As always, when choosing a course of study, give some thought to how you study and what will be the most ideal learning environment. I studied via the internet but if I had it to do again, I would attend an actual class. I am both a visual and audio learner and really missed the auditory factor.
